Day By Day Itinerary
Day 01: Dar es salaam to Selous
Meet & greet in Dar es salaam at 0730 hrs & drive with lunch box to Selous. Enjoy late afternoon thrilling boat safari on the Rufiji River where you will see hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. Overnight at Zarafa Tented Camp on FB Basis ( Lunch & Dinner).
Day 02: Selous
Full day game drive with lunch box. Overnight at Zarafa Tented Camp on FB Basis. (Breakfast,Lunch & Dinner).
Day 03: Selous
Full day game drive with lunch box. Overnight at Zarafa Tented Camp on FB Basis. (Breakfast,Lunch & Dinner)
Day 04: Selous to Mikumi
Early morning – Walking safari. Drive back to Mikumi with lunch box. Enjoy scenery, through crude road but one of the unforgotten safaris for the true traveler. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of landscape, which is dominated by Hills and Plains as well as part of the famous Miombo Woodlands, these varied habitats. Overnight at Camp Bastian on FB Basis (Breakfast, Lunch &
Dinner).
Day 05: Mikumi to Udzungwa
After breakfast, drive to Udzungwa for hiking till Sanje Falls with lunch box. Enjoy swimming at the in the cool water hole at the base of the falls. Return back to Mikumi for overnight at Camp Bastian on FB Basis. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 06: Udzungwa to Ruaha
After breakfast, drive with lunch box to Ruaha. En-route visit local villages & farms. On the way pass through the Kitonga hills which are part of the Udzungwa Mountains. The road then follows the Great Ruaha River and then climbs the Great Rift Escarpment. En-route visit Neema Craft. Overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge on FB Basis. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 07: Ruaha
After breakfast, full day game drive with lunch box. Overnight at Ruaha Campsite on FB Basis.(Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 08: Ruaha
After breakfast, full day game drive with lunch box. Overnight at Ruaha Hilltop Lodge on FB Basis. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 09: Ruaha to Mufindi
After breakfast, drive to Mufindi with lunch box. Overnight at Mufindi Highland Lodge on FB basis. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 10: Mufindi
Activities in Mufindi: Horse riding, fishing, golf, croquet, cultural visit, farm visit. Overnight at Mufindi Highland Lodge on FB basis. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).
Day 11: Mufindi to Mikumi
After breakfast, drive to Mikumi with lunch box . Late afternoon game drive with sunset view &
watch the animal’s drinking water at hippo pool. Overnight at Camp Bastian on FB basis.
Day 12: Mikumi to Dar es salaam
After breakfast, drive back to Dar with lunch box (Breakfast & Lunch) END OF TRIP. Additional activity If interested & have enough time: Maasai Walking tour can be arranged, 45 minute walk one way, spending 1 hr in Maasai Village with their morning activities like milking cow Depart at 0600 hrs & expect to be back by 0930 hrs & depart back to Dar es salaam. The additional cost : Usd 20 per Pax.
